Smoke breaks

Plan your smoke breaks: fixed times instead of autopilot

Updated 10/10/2026

Most smoke breaks happen out of habit, not decision. Planning your smoke breaks instead of letting them happen gives you control over your consumption.

Why planning works

A fixed frame – for example only after lunch and after work – stops breaks from piling up unchecked. Autopilot becomes a conscious decision, and that's the first step towards less.

Set fixed times

Define one to three time slots a day and stick to them. Everything in between is consciously skipped. Many people notice within days that the supposedly important breaks aren't missed at all.

Shape the break consciously

A planned break can be more than the cigarette: fresh air, a short walk, a conversation. When you value the break itself, you often need the smoking in it less.

Keep track

In Smoke with me you start every planned session with one tap. Stats show minutes per day and week plus the percentage change versus last week – so you see right away whether your plan works. Total minutes and smoke-free days are visible for free.
